No Point to Gamble in Genting Anymore
Many Malaysians, as well as Singaporeans and tourists, enjoy the ride up to Genting for a fun round with Uncle Lim. And before this, it's ok, but now, not exactly the best time to go up, and here are the reasons why.
1. Full of People
Genting is packed with people - packed till there's almost no room to walk at all. With the upcoming new extension, there's just gonna be more and more people. Also, let's not forget about the Genting Premium Outlet that has been gaining traction.
2. Expensive Food
Genting is famous for a few things - mainly casino, theme-park and of course, the price of all their restaurant. A simple Burger & Lobster will set you back few hundred ringgit - and that wouldn't even make you full.
A simple curry laksa or bak kut teh there will cost you anywhere between RM20-30 - which is bloody ridiculous. Those who likes Starbucks will also know that it's marked up kao-kao.
3. Parking Got Charge
Previously, parking free. Now, parking is RM2 & RM3 per hour for weekdays and weekends respectively. Sure, there's maximum charge of RM12 & RM18, but finding parking there is also another issue.
4. Lots of Chinamen
The People Republic of China loves to gamble - you'll find them in any Baccarat or Roulette table. And they're incredibly loud. Shouting when winning - screaming when losing, these customers are some of the reason why locals aren't too fond of playing in the same table with them.
5. Minimum Bet
Genting is no longer the same as before. Now, there's a minimum bet of RM20-RM50 per game - and that isn't great for casual gamblers. Those who wish to feel a slight thrill may have their wallets drawn to dust. This is also the reason why online casinos are doing well these days - as the minimum bet can be anywhere between RM1 - RM5.
That's all folks - so instead of going to Genting, check out our list of Malaysian's trusted online casino here: http://boc888.blogspot.my/2017/12/why-you-should-play-online-casino.html
